Leadership Union Grove allowed me to grow as a person, it allowed me learn about myself but also about the community I work in. I had so many great experiences that I would have not had if it was not for LUG. It also helps connect you with the community and resources that you may have not known about. If you are looking to grow personally and professionally, I would recommend Leadership Union Grove.
I have enjoyed working for Oak Ridge Care Center for the past 16 years, because it has allowed me to have a flexible schedule. Management is very responsive to concerns and holds monthly engagement meetings to address any issues. There are many possibilities for career advancement. The facility is always clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend Oak Ridge Care Center for these reasons.

Working as a nurse at Oakridge Care Center is more than just a job — it’s a calling that I’m grateful to answer every single day. What makes Oakridge special isn’t just the high standard of care we provide, but the sense of family and purpose that fills our halls. At Oakridge, I have the opportunity to truly connect with our residents. I love being part of a team that values compassion, dignity, and respect — not just in words, but in action. Whether it’s holding a resident’s hand during a difficult moment or celebrating milestones together, I get to make a difference in people’s lives in deeply meaningful ways.
I also appreciate how supported I feel as a nurse here. The leadership is approachable, my coworkers are like family, and I know that my voice matters. We’re encouraged to grow professionally and personally, which helps me bring my best to my patients every day.
There’s something truly special about the Oakridge community — the way we laugh, care, and lift each other up. It’s a privilege to be part of a place where kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
As a nurse, I’ve worked in a few different specialties trying to find my place and have come to realize that ORCC is where I want to be. Since being hired at ORCC, I’ve grown to truly learn what teamwork means. Everyone steps in and steps up to give great care to our residents. I look forward to coming into work and being alongside all these smart, hardworking, and caring individuals.
